- I am married to Glen and have two young adult kids who still seem to keep me occupied! I love the outdoors and my Newfie dog, Bertha. I work 60% and use the free time to maintain friendships with non-teachers, read, do a few hobbies and exercise.

- I have been teaching in Delta for 29 years. The last 8 years have been in the library overlooking the Tsawwassen ferry terminal and Georgia Strait.

- I enjoy historical fiction and books that have a message. I love Julie Vivas' illustrations with their simplicity and expression.

- No doubt, it is the kids and the parents who help me. I also like the very few times when it is peaceful!
