Hello Karla,
Thank you for getting back to me on being able to view my second assignment. I'm a bit paranoid that somehow I will fail the course because no one can see my work. Just a bit insecure, eh? BTW, thank you for teaching me techie talk!
All the best,
Therese
Hi Karla,
Thank you for your kind comments. Sharing on line throughout this course has been fantastic. I feel that I have gotten to know so many people.
I'm looking forward to the next course, too. I'll be learning who everyone is "in person" now.

Hi Karla,
The second article is in Word, not a pdf. I was able to open it just by clicking on open, rather than trying to save it and then print.
I too am playing catch up today too...and probably tomorrow!
Good luck with the reading...I hope it opens for you!

Hi Karla,
I think we're well connected now.I have responded to your 2 blog posts on your personal page and I see you have contribued 3 posts to the class discussion. So you are doing well. All you need to do to catch up now is your personal blog on the Knobel and Lankshear chapters 1 and 10, and your small group posts about your individual chapter.
Hi Karla, thanks for dropping by my page! My photos include my now 19 month old nephew Samuel from Korea, who was adopted by my sister and her husband when he was 4 months old and my 16 year old nephew Nathan who doesn't look at all like that anymore (I must update my pictures!). I like your picture too of you and your children. I also like the theme you chose for your page. I noticed that there were 2 pages for you so wasn't sure which one was really you!

Hi Rosemary!
Seems everyone has taught in Belfast - maybe it's a good omen for my getting a job! Started Space yesterday-thanks for the great ideas! Good luck on the last part of this course.

Hi Karla! Thanks for inviting me to be your friend! I too have a Belfast connection: I did my second practicum there with Darla Thompson. Dawn MacIsaac was teaching there at that time.
Karla, I taught there for five years. That was five yers ago but it's still near and dear to my heart. I was part of the car pool. Good ole' days.

About Me:
I am a mom-3 kids-Willy is 14, Elliott is 13 and Lila is 7. They are all into hockey so any free time I have this winter will be spent sitting at the rinks, sipping on coffee. Could be worse!
I graduated last year with my B.Ed (loved every minute of it) and was lucky enough to find work in the form of a fixed term contract for this year. Going back to school was such a great opportunity for me and I didn't feel as though I was finished yet so I applied to the Master's program....and here I am!
