- My husband, Ian, and I have been married for six years and have an one year old baby girl. I've been teaching since 1998 and love what I do.

I'm teaching two sections of grade twelve and one section of ten right now.
- Favorite Authors/Illustrators
- I enjoy Jodi Picoult as an other, but other than that, I tend to read all different authors. I'm not familiar with many illustrators, but my daughter likes the illustrations by Caroline Jayne Church in I Love You Through and Through.
- Best Things about our School Library
- We have a very updated collection and an extremely passionate teacher librarian.
- My Hopes & Dreams for our School Library
- I hope we will continue to have a budget and the support of our admin. team and staff. Students feel comfortable being in the library and I hope this continues, as well.

How are you getting along with your literature review. I haven't really started the review yet, but I think I finally have my research problem worked out and have an idea in my head as to how I want to introduce and organize my literature review. Now I just have to narrow down my sources. Right now I have 23 (I think) to have a look at. I'm going to look at how students are using new literacies and how these can be used in the classroom to motivate reading and writing. There's just so much stuff -- which isn't entirely bad, but I don't have a lot of time. Think I might need a break tomorrow though. It's been a busy couple of days with marking and working on this assignment. Oh well, it always gets done.
