Hi Leslie,

I see you've left two messages for me. Sorry. I just read the one from Sept. 30th.... where was I that I didn't get it?

I read an article and will soon attempt to summarize it. That's as far as I've gotten. My partner just became annoyed with me because I couldn't follow the ruler he was bending in a particular shape to get the curved lines he wanted to put on the house plans he's working on. He was, I felt, effectively putting me down and I walked off saying, "It's not my fault or maybe I'm just useless." I predict that when I go back down stairs he'll be huffy and pissed off at me. I'm not biting. I'll go over and ask if he was able to create the line himself. Then I'll get supper ready.

Hmmmm, I'm probably telling you more than you want to know. I'd rather he was reading a book like Ian is....he wouldn't need any help with that and there would be no reason to berate me.

Oh well, life goes on. Back to the article. Lots more to read. Sounds like you might need to take a break...it'll all keep and at least we don't have to have it ready for Tuesday if we can't. That was a load off my mind. I was beginning to wonder if I should quit the program.

Haven't heard from Jan for a long time. She sent us those emails with website links quite a while back but I was so busy at the time I never responded. I felt bad....I really wanted to stay in touch with the two of you. Last year wasn't a good year for doing that with anyone.

Better go.

Take care. Give your brain a rest.

Rosemary

Slidshows

Here is the URL of the slideshow which depicts a digital ethnography of the students in 611L answering the question: "As you are approaching the end of this course, how are you feeling?" I have uploaded it as a private slideshow on slideshare.
