Information, Ideas & Innovations for school libraries

The central question underlying this video, is: If there truly is a shift in our students core values from defining one's life-goals through what one owns, to defining one's life-goals through what one shares. what does the shift mean for school curriculum? And if we believe in this shift, then as TL's, we must grapple with the questions: How will this shift towards a fast-paced, 'creative', innovative, and mass-scale social construction, sharing, production and consumption of knowledge, skills, and experience effect the future of your.. our... school library curriculum and services? And if changes are required, who will lead the way, and how? Excellent video for opening discussions with school administration, teachers/colleagues, staff, parents, students, provincial/state ministers, school boards, teacher training programs, and school district coordinators.
